The name CAM OHANA was created by Anna Morales, Co-Founder. The CAM stands for Carlos, Anna, Morales (our initials). OHANA is the Hawaiian word for "family." This is a family business. We believe that "Family" is the most important thing in life."
We want everyone who participates in one of our tournaments and supports our business to feel like a part of the CAM Ohana family now.
Currently, CAM OHANA is operated by Carlos and Anna Morales, and their children, Antonio and Isabella Morales.
Anna Morales is married to Carlos Morales. Anna begins each tournament at the Check-in desk, greeting our participants with a smile. She hopes everyone has a seamless check-in process. Once Check-in is complete, Anna can be found getting her steps in starting matches and collecting post-match scoresheets. But her major role is keeping the tournament running smoothly by keeping Carlos on task!
Carlos Morales, Co-Founder, and husband of Anna Morales. Carlos has several years of experience both playing in and running pickleball tournaments of all sizes. He enjoys bringing people together from all over Virginia and the surrounding areas. His standards are high and he firmly believes in providing quality service.
Isabella Morales can be found working the operations table. She records scores and generates your next match! She and her dad work very hard to keep the tournament on schedule. From time to time, Bella also plays. She almost always brings home a medal.
Antonio Morales can be found all over during the tournament. He helps with set up and tear down, but most importantly, he makes sure the tournament is running with ease. When not helping CAM OHANA,
Antonio also helps Tony Jay from 7 Cities in Norfolk at the ODU Steven Folkes Center. He is a 4.5 DUPR rated Pickeball player.
